Chandel, September 27 2012: FINALLY, THE most awaited digital video film in Anal, PERAL THINGBOL (The Secret Banyan Tree) was released to a jam-packed house at the auditorium of United College, Lambung in Chandel district headquarters yesterday.

Directed by Sengul Pearson Anal, a post graduate degree holder from Asian School of Media Studies (ASMS), Film City Noida, and produced under the banner of Kholmi Film Production by Phantu Chapa Chala in association with Kankhu Theatre and Culture Development Society Chandel, the film was released and dedicated to all the film lovers, fans and public by Ws.

Kanral Anal, Social worker in an impressive function attended by a host of popular film makers like Prem of Kangla Films, Ranjit Ningthouja of Home Films and a team of All Manipur Video Producers' Association (AMVIMPA) under the leadership of Chand.

Dignitaries present on the occasion also included Tribe president, CNPO president, students and women organization leaders.

While addressing the gathering as Chief Guest, Kanral pointed out the significance of film in educating the people apart from being a good source of entertainment.

He opined that more films based on issues and culture should be emphasized and produced.

In his address as Guest of Honour of the function, Hulang Lovingson, Executive Member of Chandel District Congress Committee, congratulated the entire production team and encouraged the Kankhu Theatre and Culture Development Society in its efforts towards making meaningful films that would go a long way in preservation and promotion of the culture of Anal community.

In his speech, Ranjit Ningthouja also congratulated the entire production team and the director of PERAL THINGBOL S.Pearson, and said that Anal people should be proud of him and must encouraged and support him in his venture because a person who possess a professional degree in film making like him in Manipur is rare.

Furthermore, Ranjit assured that PERAL THINGBOL would be dubbed in Manipuri for reaching out to more people.

Prem and Chand also spoke during the function giving their feedbacks on film making.

PERAL THINGBOL, which took almost six months to complete,is the latest film production of Anal tribe that comes up after a gap of six years.

The last film produced in Anal was K.Angthou's "S?nkheh" casting Ps Jumas and BD.

The story, screenplay, cinematography, direction, editing and the background music score of PERAL THINGBOL has been done by Sng.

Pearson Anal while the dialogue has been written jointly by Hb.

Ruwngthung and S.Pearson.

Shangnihring have lent their voices as playback singers and the sound has been engineered by Langhu Billy, Rishi and Isaac.

The main cast in the film includes Berecky and Shangniwar in the lead roles and Ruwngthung, Shemsing and Shelny in supporting roles.

The film is all about a love story between Momo, a gangster turned dissociative Identity patient and Khikhi graceful and charming spiritual girl, who is devoted to her parents and how they overcome the trials and tribulations of life to fulfill their dreams.
