TKRC distributes relief items, thanks Th Biswajit

The Thongju Kendra Voluntary Workers' COVID-19 Relief Committee (TKRC) has extended its gratitude to Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh for timely intervention of relieving the families under containment zones of Thongju Assembly Constituency (AC), by enabling TKRC to distribute relief materials to the affected families.
A statement by TKRC said that, as entrusted by Minister Th Biswajit, the committee distributed relief items comprised of rice, cereals, edible oil and other items in the last 3 days to 20 families in the area of Mangal Club, Bashikhong Mamang Leikai, 51 families in the area of Community Recreation cum Library (CRCL), Bashikhong Kitna Panung and 61 families of Divine Club, Thongju Part-I Nameirakpam Leikai and 34 families in areas of Paona Memorial Club, Uchekon, which are all declared containment zone.

Also, 7 families under home quarantine in Thongju Part-I Ningomthong Makha Leikai were included.
The Minister has also extended his support to TKRC in the operation of 7 Community Quarantine Centres (CQC) of Thongju AC that have provided quarantine facilities to over 450 stranded persons of Thongju and other ACs.
Under his strict supervision, the Konok Khongnangkhong UPHC CQC is still functioning.
TRKC, on behalf of the people of Thongju AC extend gratefulness to Minister Th Biswajit for all his societal endeavouring and TKRC will continue its relief services under his guidance for the people of the AC, in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
