Inauguration ceremony of TRIGUN Foundation observed

The TRIGUN Foundation, though founded on April 24, 2020, held its inauguration ceremony today at Charhajare Community Hall, Kangpokpi district amid with Deputy Commissioner Somorjit Salam gracing the event as the guest of honour.
Manipur State Director, NYKS, Jackie Ruibah; president, NGYC, Charhajare, Indra Prasad Pathak and president, TRIGUN Foundation, HB Lamgade also attended as the guest of honour, special guest and functional president respectively.
TRIGUN Foundation was started on April 24, 2020 and is registered with the Registrar of Societies, Kangpokpi district.
The official symbol, logo, flag, theme song and a booklet of the foundation were also launched in the programme today.
An ambulance service, to be operational within a month, was also launched.
The service will charge minimal amount, said officials.
In addition, education scholarships were provided to three single parent families of Charhajare and Motbung.
The scholarship will cover the annual fees of the 2021-22 session.
At the event, Deputy Commissioner Somorjit talked of the need for youth to take advantage of the demographic dividend at present in India and urged them to improve their employability.
