Cabinet still undecided

State cabinet discussed the report of the high level committee looking into the authenticity of leaked DPC results of the appointment of primary teachers, Hindi primary teachers and Hindi graduate teachers for the third time today with reference to comments of the Law Department.
But no final decision was taken.
A highly reliable source said that government is looking into rectification of any irregularities so that government takes a final decision on the matter.
Government is considering for declaration of the result officially after rectification, it added.
Meanwhile, the cabinet meeting held today under the chair of Chief Minister, O Ibobi this evening decided to rename the Manipur Police Wireless as Manipur Police Telephone Service.
With cabinet giving approval to a proposal of the Home Department, the manpower strength of the section will also be increased from the existing 330 to 406, SPF spokesperson and IFCD minister N Biren said after the meeting.
He said that the cabinet cleared lifting of ban for appointment of additional manpower of the renamed section.
The Cabinet also approved the proposal of making certain modifications to the earlier order of the government regarding the handing over of power of District Rural Development Agencies of hill districts to Autonomous District Council (ADC), the spokesperson said.
According to the approved proposal, Adms of the ADCs will function as project officer of the DRDA and senior MCS officers of the GAD will be deputed as Executive Officers of each ADC, the spokesperson said.
The Cabinet also approved the regularization the posts of nine supervisors, one statistical assistant and three LDCs appointed on contract basis in the Social Welfare Department under the central sponsored scheme Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS).
Further, the Cabinet also approved the regularization of 98 staff in DRDA including grade-I & II under the DRDA and appointment of 127 grade-IV staff nurses on contract basis in the state health department to fill up vacant posts in the District Mental Health Centres.
Regularization of 48 staff of the state forest and environment was also approved by the Cabinet, Biren said.
