DESAM to mount vigil on hotels

Saying that many young students have been found engaging in immoral and amorous practices inside hotels and restaurants having fooding and lodging facilities, DESAM has decided to launch a strict on these hotels and restaurants.
Speaking to media persons at their office today, DESAM president Wangmayum Islauddin said that DESAM cannot take lightly the trend of young students having sexual relationship within hotels and restaurants having fooding and lodging facilities.
Two pairs of school students were pulled up by DESAM volunteers today from Star Hotel located at Paona Bazar and run by one Rajauddin of Lilong Leihaokhong.
The hotel was also vandalised as the hotel owner did not turn up even after he was intimated to come to DESAM for discussing the matter.
Islauddin said that Star Hotel has been banned indefinitely.
The girl in school uniform pulled up from Star Hotel is a student of Sangai Hr Sec School, Mantripukhri and she is reading in class XII.
Her male partner is also a class XII student of HRD Academy, Ghari.
Even as parents of the both the girl and the boy were called by DESAM, the girls parents did not turn.
Later, both the girl and the boy were taken away by the boy's parents.
Again, when DESAM volunteers went to vandalise Star Hotel after its owner failed to show up, another pair of students was found inside the hotel.
The girl is a class IX student of Paradise Academy, Canchipur and the boy is a class XII student of Zenith Academy.
Islauddin appealed to all hotel owners and managers not to allow young students into hotels having fooding and lodging facilities irrespective of whether the students are in uniform or not.
