Motivational talk programme conducted

The Red Shield Division organised a talk on 'motivation and personality development' at Leimakhong today for aspirants who want to join the defence forces as officers.
According to a PIB (DW) release, the talk was given by Vineeta Sahni, regional president of Army Wives' Welfare Association, Red Spear Corps.
It is said that Red Shield Division took up the task of training and extending all assistance to not just officer cadre aspirants from within the Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Other Ranks (ORs) of the Division, but also the children of various schools of Manipur.
The Division has over the past few months, painstakingly selected NCOs and ORs from it folds and has been training them to join the Army in the officer cadre through the Army Cadet College (ACC) as also Special Commission Officer (SCO) and Permanent Commission Special List (PCSL).
The training has been focused on preparing them for the Services Selection Board which is considered amongst the best and wholesome selection procedure in the country, maintained the release adding that a total of 79 candidates were present in today's talk.
Similarly, a total of 103 students from various schools like Sainik School Imphal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Leima-khong, Don Bosco School, Maram Chil Chil School attended the same.
Issues related to social behaviour, art of communication, appearance and attitude, Maslow's hierarchy of Needs, SWOT analysis, Johari Window were discussed at length.
Informing that Vineeta Sahni has a rich experience in the field of education for more then 25 years in india and abroad, the PIB (DW) release also said that she has a rich experience of training and development in the human resources domain in the corporate sector where she held prestigious appointment at the Air Hostess Academy and Moolchand Group of Hospitals.
Currently, she is also the Managing Director of Varied Solutions, which is a personality development institute based at NOIDA.
