The Anal Naga Students' union has lodged a formal complaint to the Chairman of Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chandel regarding alleged entertainment of non-residential candidates for entrance examination to class VI in the institution.
Pointing that students from Chandel are comparatively less competitive than non-residential students from neighbouring areas or districts, a memorandum addressed to the JNV, Chandel Chairman further reminded that student community of the district had been opposing influx of non-residential candidates for entrance examination into class VI of JNV, chandel.
Informing that maximum cooperation on the issue would be highly appreciated the student body, however, cautioned that it would be compelled to take 'appropriate action' in case of failure to evoke a positive response from the Chairman.
