Awareness drive on child trafficking at Jiribam

Imphal, July 12 2011:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Barak Valley organised an awareness camp on child trafficking for the Zeliangrong people of Jiribam and adjoining villages of Tamenglong district at tribal community hall, Jiribam today, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
Resource persons who participated in the camp alerted the parents to be aware of the menace of child trafficking which is on the rise at an alarming rate.
The camp was attended by around 200 people including parents and students of Zeliangrong community.
