National integration camp concludes

The 5-day National integration camp has concluded today at Kangshang, Khuman Lampak, Imphal with Prof N Mohendro Singh, former member, Steering Committee, NER Vision 2020, DoNER, Government of India, Sahib Singh, state director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Manipur and N Ibungochoubi, president, Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association as presidium members.
250 youths from Gangtok and Namchi districts of Sikkim, Wokha district of Nagaland, Tejpur and Nagaon districts of Assam, Ambala and Yamuna Nagar Haryana, Nagpur district of Maharashtra, Kolkata district of West Bengal, Tura Meghalaya, Samastipur district of Bihar and 8 districts of Manipur (except Tamenglong) participated in camp.
Prof N Mohendro Singh talked about role of youth in bringing peace, unity and harmony.
N Ibungochoubi Singh said that though the camp, youth are given a platform to share knowledge, exchange thoughts, ideas which will help in bringing National integration.
W Ibohal Singh, district youth coordinator, NYK, Imphal West who presented the camp report thanked all the stakeholders and participants for their active support and cooperation in making the camp a success.
Peace rally, cleanliness drive, yoga sessions, feel India presentation, exhibition, know your India quiz, field visit to historical places etc were the main highlights of the camp.
The best camper was won by Gangtok Sikkim, best discipline team by Meghalaya and best participation team by Sikkim East.
Ankor Sharma of Haryana, Utpal Nath and Biswajit Gaokhowa of Assam got the first prize in the quiz competition while Sandeep Gujjar of Haryana and Saraswati Baraily of Sikkim won the second prize and Alex Tsopoe of Nagaland and Kapilkumar S Admane of Maharashtra bagged the third position.
