PCTC reopened

PCTC, one of the most popular oil pumps in the State has resumed its normal services from today.
Notably, the oil pump was closed after a tanker truck of 12 Kl capacity caught fire in the process of unloading fuel on November 23 last year.
IOC's State Level Coordinator and Chief Divisional Retail Sales Manager Sinam Ibungoton informed that IOC officials investigated repeatedly to ascertain the cause of the accidental fire.
It was later confirmed that the tanker truck caught fire as no earthing was done before starting sampling process ahead of unloading fuel.
The investigations were followed by multiple checkings of all the equipment installed at the oil pump and the ban imposed upon it was lifted.
Subsequently, IOC started allocating fuels to the PCTC since yesterday and the pump started distributing fuels to public from today,
