Khenchanglon Loisang inaugurated

Imphal, March 20 2023: Khenchanglon Loisang which will be a place to discuss the important societal aspects and Kuthi (astrological birth charts) was inaugurated today.

The inaugural programme was organised by Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) .

As a part of the programme, Meetei annual calendar and greeting cards of Sajibu Cheiraoba were released.

The programme was graced by Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board vice-president Vidyapati Senjam; Member Secretary Maisnam Shivadutta Luwang and Senior member Keisam Ibomcha as the presidium members among others.

Speaking at the occasion, Maisnam Shivadutta Luwang said that Khenchanglon Loisang is inaugurated to provide a place to discuss and analyse the important issues around the world and it will be a place to analyse the astrological birth charts.

The place will provide an opportunity to translate the astrological birth charts written in Bengali to Meetei Mayek, he added.

Thongbam Premjit has been appointed as the 'Sanglakpa' of newly inaugurated Khenchanglong Loisang while Konsam Jiten as the Sanglakpa Hanjaba.
