Imphal, March 20 2023:
The 5-days long seed sowing festival, "Phalee Liuwtoh Phanit" concluded today at Phalee village in Ukhrul district with great pomp and joy.
The final day of the festival, which was celebrated as Cultural Day, was marked by various cultural activities and indigenous food exhibition.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Dr Alyson Abonmei stated that the seed sowing festival will help promote agriculture in the village, he stressed on the need for the Government to assess the ground reality of remote villages and initiate necessary measures for the welfare of the people.

"Such initiatives will foster better relationships and bridge the gap between the people and Government", he added.
Dr Alson continued that if he gets elected in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election for Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, he would strive to bring development and prosperity in the State.
Chingtam Women Development Association president, N Kunjeshori also spoke on the occasion.
