Death to hits 200, recovery rate rises to 84.39 pc

Imphal, November 10 2020:
Whereas the State's COVID-19 death toll has touched 200, the recovery rate has further improved to 84.39 per cent.
Two COVID-19 positive men aged 47 and 58 belonging to Thoubal and Kakching died at PHC/HWC Mayang Imphal and JNIMS respectively during the last 24 hours.
In the meantime, 219 people including four personnel of CAPF were tested positive for the virus at JNIMS, RIMS, Imphal East, Imphal West, Maipakpi Hospital, Mother's Care, RD Wing, Swiss Clinic, Hillside Hospital, CMC, Acme Hospital, Escent Diagnostics, Asian Hospital, Imphal Hospital, Public Hospital, Shija Hospital, Raj Medicity, Christian Hospital, Jivan Hospital, Advance Hospital, Peace Hospital, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Kakching, Tamenglong, Tengnoupal, Ukhrul, Senapati, Churachandpur, Chandel, Kangpokpi, Jiribam and Babina Diagnostics.
The 215 civilians who have been tested positive are residents of Imphal West (95), Imphal East (36), Thoubal (15), Bishnupur (13), Ukhrul (3), Tamenglong (16), Tengnoupal (2), Kamjong (1), Kakching (5), Kangpokpi (2), Churachandpur (17), Chandel (4), Jiribam (2) and Senapati (4) .
All of them are locals who do not have any significant history of travelling outside the State.
On the other hand, 275 COVID-19 positive people were discharged during the last 24 hours from CAPF (26), home isolation (130), RIMS (9), CCC Lamboi Khongnangkhong (57), CCC UNACCO (17), RD Wing (1), Kakching (12), Bal Bhavan (2), Bishnupur (2), Kamjong (1), Moreh (2), Kangpokpi (11) and Tamenglong (5) .
According to the COVID-19 Common Control Room's bulletin, the total number of positive cases is 20,777 (general population 17941, Central security personnel 2836) .
It includes 3043 active cases (general population 2815, Central security personnel 228) and 17534 discharged cases (general population 14930 and Central security personnel 2604) .
