Cautioning the authority concerned of ADC Tamenglong against involvement of politicians, bureaucrats and NGOs in the process of District Council primary teachers' recruitment, Zeliangrong Students' Union, Manipur (ZSUM) has asked that only the qualified teachers should be appointed on the basis of merit.
So any form of malpractices should be stopped and the politicians, bureaucrats and UGs should stay away from giving any undue pressure or hindrance in the recruitment process in the larger interest of the people of Tamenglong district, ZSUM chairman K Humaliabou and public relations secretary Micah Kamei said in a joint statement, adding that ZSUM is expecting that many qualified and unemployed youths would be selected this time.
ZSUM would not remain a mere spectator but take up legal action if anybody is found involving in bribery in the process of ADC primary teachers selected, the student body warned.
