Mahila Morcha BJP joins Clean India Campaign

Showing solidarity to the public awareness campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Clean India Campaign, the Mahila Morcha BJP Manipur President Naorem Ibemcha Devi initiated a cleanliness campaign in Bal Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School at Porompat in Imphal East district today.
Along with the office bearers and teaching staffs of the School, Mahila Morcha team supported by MODIfied Northeast India and volunteers of the Social Initiative supports performed cleanliness drive.
The team also cleaned the State Office of BJP at Nitayipat Chuthek.
State Mahila Morcha leaders from Ukhrul, Churachandpur too attended the event which focused on cleaning the classrooms, the playground, and toilets.
A meeting of the office bearers, Mandal and District Presidents and State Executives who were present on the occasion of the event was also held under the leadership of Naorem Ibemcha for expanding the partnership of the people in Prime Minister's Clean India Campaign in the State.
In the meeting, Naorem Ibemcha called upon the party workers to ensure participation at Committee level for the Clean India Campaign and said that although this campaign is of the Government of India and the Government agencies shall play a part yet, it is the responsibility of the BJP workers, particularly the Mahila Morcha to take this program to the people and apprise them about its importance and make them aware about it.
Important leaders who have contributed for the successful campaign includes Smt Wangnu Kom, vice president; Smt K.Inaocha Devi, State Executives; Smt Purnima Roy, State Executive; Kh Bilashini Devi, Bishnupur district leader; Smt Pamreiphy Tungshang , president,Ukhrul District; Smt Tinkhonei Haokip @anei, president Churachandpur District; Ngainikim, vice president, Churachandpur district of BJP Mahila Morcha.
