Fraud veterinary doctor

State Vigilance Commission has recommended the termination of a veterinary doctor of the State Veterinary Department from service for getting into service using fake certificate.
The matter came to light during an investigation conducted by the Commission regarding manipulation of date of birth by some staff of the Department in order to extend their service period, said a source.
According to the documents submitted during his recruitment into the Department, he passed his Matriculation examination under Bihar School Examination Board in 1967 and PUC under Gauhati University in 1968 .
His date of birth according to these documents was March 1, 1954 and his date of appointment in the Department was May 23, 1982 .
However, Bihar School Examination Board and Gauhati University have confirmed that the man did not appear in the examinations conducted in the years mentioned in his certificates.
As such, the Commission recommended the State Administrative Department to terminate the veterinary doctor from his service for getting into service using fake certificates.
