NSUI to conduct career counselling

National Students' Union of India (NSUI) Manipur State is set to conduct career counselling sessions in different parts the State for students to clear doubts regarding admission in different colleges across the country, admission criteria and cut off list of Delhi University, academic career and legal awareness.
Briefing media persons at Congress Bhavan, president in-charge, NSUI Manipur State, Amin Shah said the student body will provide all forms of help and support to students in clearing their doubts.
NSUI is the student wing of the Indian National Congress (INC).
He added that large number of students every year face difficulties during admission for a number of reasons.
NSUI Manipur State is also set to institute different units across the country to provide assistance and counseling centres.
Students who have recently cleared the class XII exams and others can avail the opportunities of the career counseling scheduled to begin from May 20 at DM College and other parts of the State, he added.
NSUI Manipur State has taken up steps to not only provide assistance and career guidance to students but also to extend all possible help including financial assistance.
Meanwhile, convener of NSUI North East Cell Delhi University, P Bankimchandra said as there is high competition among students to get the best college or university, different forms of difficulties are faced by students from the North East including Manipur to get admission.
NSUI North East Cell has been in the forefront providing all forms of guidelines and assistance to students who face problems in admission, hostel and other similar situations.
