A girl from Greenland locality of Ukhrul who returned from Delhi and was quarantined at the village quarantine centre for 14 days after her earlier stay at an institutional/community quarantine centre for 14 days was found positive one day after she was discharged on completion of 28 days.
The girl was discharged one day before her test result came.
One day after her discharge, her result declared her as positive.
Following this, Ukhrul District Magistrate Joseph Pauline Kamson has sealed the whole locality and declared Greenland, Ukhrul as a containment zone.

On the other hand barely 24 hours after a police officer was found COVID-19 positive at Jiribam, another police personnel who was on duty at a quarantine centre at Ukhrul has tested positive for the said virus.
The police personnel is among over 150 people who have tested positive for the virus in the district.
A source told this correspondent that the police personnel is among four police personnel posted at Ukhrul Higher Secondary School (UHSS) quarantine centre at Wino Bazar and he tested positive for the said virus yesterday.
All the security personnel have been deployed at the quarantine centre at UHSS since May 26.After the said police personnel developed mild fever his swab sample was collected on June 28 and the result was received yesterday.
He along with the other three security personnel were immediately evacuated from the quarantine centre.
Swab samples were also collected for re-test.
At least 40 persons are still housed at the UHSS centre.
According to information from Ukhrul District Hospital as many as 153 returnees have tested positive for Covid-19.Out of this, 55 persons have recovered while some are under treatment at Ukhrul Covid Care Centre and others are in the isolation ward at Ukhrul District Hospital.
CMO of Ukhrul Dr Kapangring said that all the patients are given proper medication and they are all in stable conditions.
19 positive cases detected: The State's total COVID-19 positive cases has reached 1279 after 19 samples were tested positive at RIMS and JNIMS during the last 24 hours.
According to a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, eight people tested positive for COVID-19 at RIMS and 11 others at JNIMS during the last 24 hours.
Ten of them belong to Churachandpur district, one to Imphal West, two to Kakching, two to Kamjong, one to Kangpokpi, one to Thoubal and two to Ukhrul district.
Meanwhile, 37 people who were undergoing treatment for COVID-19 have been discharged following recovery during the past 24 hours.
19 of them were discharged from CCC Meitram, 17 from CCC Kakching and one from RIMS.
The total number of active cases at the time of filing this report is 663 while total number of recovery stands at 616 .
The recovery rate is 48.16 per cent.
At present, 16 people have been undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at RIMS, 105 at JNIMS, five at Bishnupur district hospital, 403 at CCC Meitram, 44 at TK Youth Land Resort, Ukhrul, nine at Ukhrul district hospital, 71 at Tamenglong Higher Secondary School, 37 at Covid Care Centre (CCC) Senapati, nine at CCC Kakching, 15 at Thoubal district hospital, two at IGNTU Makhan and 45 at different quarantine centres.
