Cancel order appointing 3 College Principals: DMCOSTA

Imphal, October 21 2015: The members of the Dhanamanjuri College of Science Teachers' Association (DMCOSTA) on its meeting held on October 19 last strongly reacted against the Government's inaction and reluctance to issue an appropriate Government order for cancelling the controversial appointment of three regular Principals of Government Colleges.

A press note signed by DMCOSTA general secretary Dr RK London appealed to the Government to respond immediately to cancel the previous Government order appointing the three College Principals.

The teacher's association also urged the Government for a fresh advertisement to appoint only the eligible college teachers.

Three members of DMCOSTA, Dr E Jadu, Dr N Ibotombi and Dr Thangjam Ranjit were also thanked by the association for challenging and protesting against the controversial appointment of College Principals by the Government in 2014 .
