Manipur crowned sepaktakraw champions

Imphal, December 23 2024: Manipur were crowned champions in boys' and girls' regu team competition in the 27th Sub-Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship held at Mini Stadium, Trikarpur, Kerala.

The Manipur boys' team defeated Uttar Pradesh 3-0 in the final on Monday.

In the semi-final, the state team beat Bihar (3-0) while in group stage it trounced UP (3-0), Delhi (3-0) and Nagaland (3-0) .

Similarly, the girls' team won the title by defeating Kerala 3-0 in the final match.

Before reaching the final, the team beat Maharashtra (3-0) and in group stage it emerged victorious against Delhi (3-0), Odisha (3-0) and Assam (2-1) .
