Imphal, March 02 2009:: In today�s match of the 11th Dr Kanti Mukherjee Memorial Invitation Hockey Tournament 2008-09 organised by the Manipur Hockey Association at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium, Imphal, YCCIC beat KHSC 4-1.Altogether 10 different teams of the state are participating the tournament in which they will compete in two groups.

Today�s match was played between KHSC, Khongman and YCCIC, Ahallup.

YCCIC gave a severe blow to KHSC by scoring four goals agianst one goal of KHSC and won the match.

Players of YCCIC played the match with full determination to win the match.

They played the match substantially with skillfull tactics.

They dominated the whole match from the very beginning of the match.

W Suresh openned the scoreboard in the 13th minute of the match by scoring one goal against KHSC.

Just after three minutes of the first goal, Suresh again scored another goal agianst KHSC in the 16th minute of the match.

With one goal ahead of them players of KHSC played the match with full efforts to equalise the score position.

But none could score a single goal against YCCIC in the first half.

On the other hand Y Chandra of YCCIC scored one goal agianst KHSC in the 48th minute of the match.

Y Suresh too scored one goal against KHSC in the 65th minute of the match.

But all the hard efforts of KHSC did not went into vain.

They scored one goal agianst YCCIC in the 67th minute of the match.

It was scored by L Chandra of KHSC.

In the second match played between MPSC and SEYO was a tough match between the two.

After a tougha match MPSC won the match by defeating SEYO 4-3. Both teams'players played the match with full determination to win the match.

Full coordination can be seen among the players of both teams.

They played the match with almost equal skills and tactics.

P Priyokumar of MPSC scored the first goal of the match in the 21st minute of the match.

In pursuit of the goal of MPSC, Ksh Sumeshkanta of SEYO scored one goal agianst MPSC in the 32nd minute of the match.

Priyokumar again scored one goal against SEYO in the 41st minute of the match adding one more in his and his team�s credit.

In the very next minute M Premchand of MPSC scored one goal against SEYO.

SEYO players too tried hard to equalise the score position.

As a result Th Tompok of SEYO scored one goal agianst MPSC in the 43rd minute of the match.

Spectators witnessed a raging match between the two teams.

Sumeshkanta again scored one more goal against MPSC in the 50th minute of the match.

As both teams have equal goal accounts, they began to played the match more substantially than before.

Players of each teams attempted various attacks to score goal agianst one another.

But it was not an easy task for both of them to score goal against the strong defence of both team.

As the match progress Tarunkumar of MPSC scored one goal against SEYO in the 65th minute of the match.

With one goal ahead of them, players of SEYO tried hard to equalise the score position.

But all their hard efforts went into vain when they could not scored any single goal against MPSC till the end of the match.

MPSC players too could not scored any further goals against SEYO till the end of the match and the match concluded with MPSC winning by one goal.
