Women's cricket: AKSDO, PTCC register wins

Imphal, April 18 2024:
Both AKSDO and PTCC registered emphatic wins in Thursday's action of the MNCA Womens U-19 One Day Trophy.
AKSDO outclassed FORCE by 8 wickets at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, Imphal East, Imphal.
A brilliant bowling performance by AKSDO reduced FORCE to 108/10 in 28.5 overs, with Alish Thokchom, Bijiya Khundrakpam and Laishram Linthoi Chanu each claiming 3 wickets apiece.
Rabina Khundrakpam took one.
In FORCE'S innings, Me-hanaz (52) emerged as the lone bright spot.
AKSDO then took 26.4 overs to achieve the target as unbeaten knocks from Daina Moirangthem (37) and Sofiya Saikhom (36) guided their team to an emphatic victory.
PTRC, on the other hand, thumped PCC by 7 wickets at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, Imphal.
The PTRC trio of Bandana, Konsam Sayatombi Devi and Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam took 3 wickets each to help their side dismiss PCC for 73 in 33.4 overs.
Only Hemam Lingjen Devi (21) and Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu (14) reached double figures in their innings.
In their response, Laishram Teresa scored 45 to help PTRC surpass the opposition's total in 8.1 overs for their comfortable win.
