Manipur steamroll Nagaland in North East Rising Cup for U-15 girls

Imphal, May 14 2025: Manipur bounced back from first game defeat to overwhelm Nagaland by 10 wickets in a one sided match of the ongoing North East Rising Cup 2025 for U-15 girls at ACA Cricket Academy Ground, Fulung, Guwahati.

Manipur opted to bowl first and dismantled Nagaland for just 38 runs in 20 overs and chased down the target in 5 overs without losing any wickets.

Farjiya (2/4 in 4 overs), Laitonjam Benita (2/8 in 4 overs) and Laishram Linthoi (1/1 in 1 over) shared 5 wickets for Manipur as Nitu topscored for Nagaland with 10 runs off 13 balls.

In reply, Laishram Viviene 10 not Out off 14 balls and Farhana 12 not out off 16 balls produced an unbeaten partnership of 39 runs to seal the commanding win for Manipur.
