Imphal, May 11 2025: The 3rd edition of the 3rd Samaram Trophy State Level Open FootballToumamentorganised by Samaram FC at Samaram playground came to a close with Football Lovers Nongpok Sekmai as the champions.

Football Lovers Nongpok Sekmai defeated Football Lovers Manipur by 2-0 goals in the final clash today to seal the top honours.

Sudhir found the opener for the winners in the 25th minute before Rohit netted the decisive goal in the 40th minute.

Yaiphaba of Football Lovers Manipur; Rohit of Football Lovers Nongpok Sekmai were declared best goalkeeper and best player of the tournament while Md Ejaj of Sangaiyumpham emerged top scorer of the tournament.

Winners, runners up, best discipline team- Legend FC (Manipur Police) and individual prize winners were feted during the valedictory function held today.
