State team for 3rd NECDC Senior Men's Inter State Friendship Tournament 2025 announced

Imphal, May 06 2025: The Manipur Cricket Association has announced the State team for the 3rd NECDC Senior Men's Inter State Friendship Tournament 2025 due to be held from May 9 to 15 at Dimapur under the aegis of the North East Cricket Development Council.

The players who made it to the State team include Rajkumar Rex (Captain), Kangabam Priyojit (Vice Captain), Chingakham Bidash, Lamabam Ajay, Mandingbam Andyroshan, Mk Nawaz Mughal, Mutum Swabhiman, Ngariyanbam Jameson, Ngariyanbam Johnson, Nongthombam Denin, P Prafullomani, Pheiroijam Jotin, Yumnam Chingkheinganba, Yumnam Karnajit and Zamir Khan.

The support staff of the team in the meantime include Oinam Imo as manager, Waikhom Ganga as coach, Elangbam Rashikumar as assistant coach, Kshetrimayum Milikanta as physiotherapist and Salam Cherish as trainer.

The team will leave for Dimapur tomorrow.

Manipur are drawn alongside Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram in Group A while Nagaland, Sikkim and Meghalaya are clubbed in Group B in the 6-team tournament.

Manipur will play Arunachal Pradesh in the opening match on May 9 before playing Mizoram on May 12 .

Top two teams from the two groups will advance to the semi-finals due to be held on May 13 before the final encounter slated for May 15 .
