National School Games Football kicks off

Imphal, December 05 2014 :
The 60th National School Games in Football Under-17 began from today at the Main Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
International player W Linthoinganbi took the oath on the opening ceremony.
In the first match, Maharashtra drubbed Vidya Bharati by 39-0 goals.
Maharashtra dominated the all the proceedings right from the kick-off.
Twelve goals from Sejal Nakhawa, Nine goals from Komal Badgujor, five from Aakangsa K, four from Sonali Chemate, three from Sayali Kadam brushed aside their Vidya Bharati counterparts.

Pooja Dhamal, Sanghapriyo W, Varsha S also scored two goals each in the totally one-sided match.
Manipur defeated Tamil Nadu by 2-0 in a Pool-C match played at Hockey Practice Field.
W Rajnibala and Kasmina scored one goal each in the 6th and 15th minute of the match.
In the third match played at Artificial Turf Ground, Odisha blanked out Andhra Pradesh by 13-0 goals.
Suman Pragyan, Samita Mahourana and Subhadra Nayak scored four, three and two goals respectively.
Arati Seiti, Etishree Malik and Loumi Munolo also added one goal each.
Chandigarh edged past Madhya Pradesh by 2-1 in the fourth match played at main stadium.
Anjali scored both the goals for Chandigarh while Chouhan score the solitary goal for MP.
West Bengal girls were given work-over as Jharkhand team did not turn up at playground.
In the match number six played at Artificial Turf Ground, Delhi defeated Chhattisgarh by 3-1 goals.
Mariya, Alesha and Prerana netted one goal each for Delhi and Laxmi Devi scored the lone goal of the Chhattisgarh.
Monika's own goal enabled Bihar to win over Haryana by 1-0 in the match no.7 played Main Stadium at 10:30 am.
In today's last match played between Gujarat and IPSC ended in a goalless draw.
