Imphal, February 17 2009: In today's matches of the 9th Khagemba Football Trophy, 2009 organised by the Kyamgei Youth Pioneer Club (KYPC), Kyamgei Heibong Makhong at its ground, Fire Hawk, SICO and IPS defeated their respective opponents and won the matches.

Todayu's first match was played between Fire Hawk and SWC.

The match was dominantly played by the players of Fire Hawk.

Fire Hawk opened their goal account with a goal scored by Anand in the 7th minute of the match.

With one goal ahead of them, players of SWC tried hard to equalise the score position.

In amidst of the hot pursuit of SWC to equalise the score position, Anthony of Fire Hawk striked another goal for his team in the 25th minute of the match against SWC.

Players of SWC did not lose their heart and tried their best to score goals against Fire Hawk.

As a result of their hard efforts, they managed to score one goal against Fire Hawk in the 36th minute of the match.

The goal was scored by Th Roshan of SWC.

Both teams' players played the second half of the match with renewed hope to win the match.

SWC players played the match with full determination to win the match.

But all their hopes shattered when Angam of Fire Hawk striked one more goal against them in the 68th minute of the match.

No further goals were scored by both teams till the end of the match and the match concluded with Fire Hawk winning by 3-1.Gandhi of Fire Hawk was issued a yellow card by the centre referee for his unsporting behaviour during the match.

The second match was won by SICO after defeating ASA 6-1 in an easy-to-win match.

The match was dominated by the players of SICO from the beginning.

Ajit of SICO opened their goal account with a goal against ASA in the 4th minute of the match.

Players of ASA played the match more substantially to equalise the score position and their hard efforts did not went into vain.

They managed to equalise the score position when Bijukumar of ASA stgriked one goal against SICO in the 29th minute.

Malemnganba scored three goals against ASA in the 32nd, 34th and 57th minute of the match.

Dhanajit and Khoidum of SICO also scored one goal each in the 37th and 40th minute of the match.

The third match was played between IPS and KYPC (C).

The whole match was dominantly played by the players of IPS.

KYPC players could not striked a single goal against IPS.

It was hard for them to face the numerous goal attempts of IPS.

IPS players attacked at various moments to score goals against KYPC from the beginning of the match.

At the beginning of the match players of KYPC tried their hard to defend themselves but could not sticked further against the onslaughts.

L Arunkumar of IPS scored one goal against KYPC in the 16th minute of the match and opened the goal account of their team.

He again scored two more goals against KYPC in the 30th and 42nd minute of the match and earned himself a hatg trick by striking three consecutive scores in the match.

In the second half, N Surjit of IPS also scored one goal agianst KYPC adding one more goal in his team's account.

The goal was scored in the 52nd minute of the match.

The last goal of IPS was scored in the 56th minute of the match by L Arunkumar adding one more in his account.

The match concluded with IPS winning by scores 5-1 .
