MBA named players for Lawn bowls nationals

Imphal, September 08 2023: Manipur Bowling Association (MBA) on Friday named men and women players for the 8th National Lawn Bowls Championship 2023 & U-25 National Lawn Bowls Championship 2023 scheduled to be held from September 23-30 at Sarusajai Sports Complex, Guwahati, Assam.

The men's squad includes Kongkham Hemandro Singh, Mohd Zane Khan, Pravesh Kumar Salam, Kshetrimayum Romesh Singh and Mohd Aftaf Ahmad Khan.

The players for the women's competition are Chongtham Keilyani Chanu, Chingakham Surbala Devi, Mutum Surmala Chanu, Ningthoujam Basumati Devi and Sandham Manitombi Devi.

The association also picked Moirangthem Mangaalleiba and Langlensana Yambem for the U-25 Lawn Bawls Championship, with Yambem Tomthin Khuman and Thoudam Lamjingba are named in the reserved list.

The state team will be accompanied by men's manager/coach Dr Moirangthem Manimohon Meetei and women's manager/coach Gaijillu Golmei.
