JJ Tiger FC, Ngariyan FC, Leikai FC victorious in Maipakpi Memorial Trophy

Imphal, May 06 2025: JJ Tiger FC, Ngariyan FC, Leikai FC emerged victorious in today's matches of the 3rd Maipakpi Memorial Trophy being underway at City Club ground, Heirok Litan Makhong.

In the first match of the day (Group E), JJ Tiger FC, Thoubal sealed a slender 1-0 win over Chandramukhi FC to extend their unbeaten run.

The lone goal that earned JJ Tiger FC all three points after having played out a 1-1 draw with Sangaiyumpham FC was scored by Shitaljit in the 33rd minute.

In a Group F match staged later, Ngariyan FC beat John FC, Achanbigei by a solitary goal coming from Kh Zahir in the 24th minute.

In another Group F match, Leikai FC beat Thambalsana FC, Leirongthel by 2-1 goals to stretch their unbeaten run having played out a goalless draw with John FC in the previous match.

Thambalsana FC enjoyed a 1-0 first half lead thanks to Bobosana's 6th minute strike but Leikai FC fought back in the second half and rode on Momocha (38') and Sudhir (40') to overturn the lead and walked away with all 3 points.
