Jiribam, February 28:
Nabakumar Sharma's fiery spell restricted PHED to a meagre 75 runs before RD&PR overhauled the target for the loss of only three wickets in a group match of the 19th Manipur Civil Services Cricket Championship at the Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary School ground today.
Electing to bat first, PHED batsmen laboured to put 75 runs on the board losing six of its batsmen in the process in the 25 over game.
In reply, RD&PR reached 81 runs in 9.4 overs win by seven wickets.
Nabakumar, who claimed four PHED scalps, was named man of the match.
In tomorrow's match of the championship being organised by Manipur Civil Services Association, PWD will take on IFCD.
