BMSC, NEROCA stretch winning run in Hero Junior League

Biramangol Memorial Sporting Club (BMSC) thrashed Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) 3-0 while NEROCA downed FC Imphal City by 2-0 goals to extend their winnings ways in the Boys Hero India Junior (U-15) League (Imphal Zone) organised under the auspices of All India Football Federation at Football Turf, Khuman Lampak.
Biramangol FC earned the second home win today against TRAU riding on brace by Usham Ajeet Meitei and a single from L Kheljit Meitei.
It was a tight contest in the beginning and the defence line on the both ends managed well to tackle incisive runs in time and rendered the first half to end in a goalless draw.
The game however took a turn after the break as BMSC shifted gears and seize control of rivals' half looking for the breakthrough.
Their diligent efforts paid dividend in the 52nd minute with Usham Ajeet beating TRAU keeper Ningthoujam Bovison.
Ajeet maintained his cool to grab another in the 66th minute of the match before Kheljit rounded off the scoring ten minutes later for a clinical 3-0 finish.
Elsewhere, FCIC's misery continues as they conceded their third and home match to NEROCA by 2-0 margin.
NEROCA which sealed a 1-0 win in their home tie against TRAU took off the game slowly and took a 1-0 lead in the first half thanks to Giftson Kamei's 39th minute strike.
FC Imphal City however guarded their wall well for the major portion of the second half but NEROCA rose again with Wahengbam Dinesh finding the finisher in the 81st minute.
