AMCSTA Tennis Tournament : Dr Ribhaskar wins singles and doubles' crowns

Imphal, May 11 2025: Dr Thoudam Ribhaskar who was part of the team event winning Health Department team kept the Department's flag flying high by winning the men's singles and doubles' title in the All Manipur Civil Services Tennis Tournament that concluded today at Officers' Club, Lamphelpat.

Dr Ribhaskar sealed the men's singles title beating Md Azad Khan of Manipur Secretariat in the final today before pairing up with L Binoy to beat T Pamei and Md Azad Khan of Manipur Secretariat to seal the doubles title.

Notably, the Health Department team comprising Dr Ribhaskar, Dr N Sunny and L Binoy had won the team event as the Manipur Secretariat team consisting of T Pamei, T Chingthangkhomba and Md Azad Khan finished runners up.

The day also saw N Kangjamba of Land Resources Department clinching the veteran men's singles title beating T Pamei of Manipur Secretariat today in the final.

N Kangjamba also pocketed the veteran men's doubles title by pairing up with H Balkrisna of RD&PR Department.

The duo defeated T Pamei of Manipur Secretariat and Dr I Homendro of Health Department in the final today to earn the doubles' title.

Naorem Praveen, Secretary of Education (S) and Thaithuilung Pamei, Commissioner of Horticulture and Soil Conservation/Sericulture attended the closing and prize distribution function of the tournament, that was hosted by the All Manipur Civil Services Tennis Association (AMCSTA) from May 9, as presidium.
