Joychandra wins 2nd Mr Imphal West Championships

Imphal, June 03 2012: T Joychandra of KBB Gym, Tera Sapam Leirak has lifted the title of Mr Imphal West in the senior's category of the 2nd Mr Imphal West Body Building Championships 2012 held at Sagolband Thingom Leikai Community Hall, Imphal.

The Imphal West District Amateur Body Builders' Association organised the championships under the guidance of Manipur Amateur Body Building Association (MABBA) .

L Kiran of CAU, Iroishemba won the second spot while N Nara of KBB Gym won third position.

Winner Joychandra was awarded a cash prize of Rs 20,000 while Kiran and Nara won cash award of Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively.

N Sanjoy of Patriots' Gym, A Olendro of Sangai Gym and Sanjoy Thoudam of KBB Gym won the 4th to 6th position respectively.

They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 1000 each.

In junior's category, Maibam China of TBBC, Takeyl Khongbal won gold while the silver and bronze medals were won by Longjam Yaiphaba of MI Gym Mayang Imphal and Leishangthem Hemson of JBC Singjamei respectively.

They were awarded cash prizes of Rs 15,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. Consolotation prizes of 4th to 6th positions were won by Ningthoujam Johnbush of MI Gym, Khaidem Opendro of TBBC and Konsam Herojit of TBBC respectively.

Cash prize of Rs 1,000 each were awarded to them.
