Jiribam 1st Div League Echel Club edge past LFC

Jiribam, September 23 2017:
Echel Club, Dibong came from behind to beat LFC 3-1 in the ongoing 15th Th Radhamani Memorial 1st Division Football League Touranament 2017 at Jiribam Higher Secondary School ground today .
LFC dominated the first-half but Echel Club pulled back the match with ease in the second half to script its win .
Panga Pamei (J no 11) handed LFC the lead in the 32nd minute.
The team maintained the lead till the end of the first half .

After the recess, Echel Club shifted gear and intensified the raids using the flanks with good co-ordination among the players .
Nehemia (J no 16) of Echel Club taking opportunity of defensive lapse, oustepped few defenders and rifled in the ball deep into the net to draw level in the 58th minute .
Echel Club continued their drive and Nehemia again found the ball in the right place and struck his second goal in the 63rd minute to reverse the lead.
In their efforts to add more goal, Lamboi Vaphei (J no 12) was yellow carded in the very next minute .
Philips (J no 7) made another run and successfully added another goal with his crisp shot in the 78th minute to clearly seal the match 3-1 .
JYC will clash with Young Sinlung in the next league match tomorrow.
