NHM staff protest, cease work strike to be ultimatum

Thoubal, September 23 2017:
Supporting the demand for regularisation of National Health Mission staff, in the State, Kakching and Thoubal district along with AMNEWA members staged a sit in protest at CMO office, Thoubal today .
During the protest demonstration, the staff asserted that they have been in the service for too long that they are now entitled to be regularised .
Speaking to media persons, AMNEWA executive member as well as DPM of NHM, Kakching Th Pravha stated that the NHM staff have been serving in the health sector since 2006 on contractual basis .

The technical staff in Arunachal Pradesh and SSA, DRDA and ITI staff in the State have already been regularised .
The case id different for NHM, where the staff does not have the provision of HR policy as well as EPF .
She urged the Government to consider their demand and the series of agitation and added memorandum will be repeatedly submitted to the authority concerned .
The NHM staff will consider the cease work strike as their ultimatum if their demands are not fulfilled at the earliest.
