Jiribam, March 15: The 23rd state Level junior girls (U-19) and 26th Sub Junior Girls (U-16) Chess Tournament organised by Manipur chess Association will held from April 12 at Chingmeirong West for which players are informed to submit entries within March 31.Four players will be selected from each category to represent the State in the forthcoming national level competitions.

On the otherhand, the 18th Under-17 boys and girls, and 29th State sub-junior boys chess tournament will be held from March 29 at Tera Boys High school while the 31st State Team Men and 19th State Team Women's championships would be held from March 30 at Chingamakha High School.

Meanwhile, the Manipur Chess Association will conduct a non-residential coaching camp from April 4 at the Chingmeirong SS Town Hall for players selected to participate in the 2nd North Eastern Chess Championship to be held at Guwahati.

Detailed information may be had from the MCA secretary, a release added.
