Imphal, February 15: Sun Club, Mongshangei trounced WFA, Kakching 5-0 in the opening match of the 4th Soraisham Ronika Memorial State Level Junior Girls Football tournament at ESU ground, Wangkhei today.

After holding their superior opponents for certain period of the first half, the WFA defence caved in 19 minutes into the game when L Kunjeshori opened the score with her first of two goals in the match.

She netted her second in the 36th minute.

Ng Anibala, however outshone her teammate with goals in the 31st, 41st and 50th minutes.

In all nine women teams are competition in the tournament organised by Imphal East District Football Association.
