3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy : THAU, AKSDO to face off in title clash

THAU, Thangmeiband will square off against AKSDO, Khangabok in the title clash of the 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy organised by the Manipur Cricket Association.
Notably, AKSDO had beaten THAU by four wickets earlier in the league round and finished Group B winners.
THAU reached the final today with a 6-wicket thrashing of Group A leaders FORCE, Kshetrigao at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
THAU chose wisely to field first and bundled out FORCE for 31 runs in 14.5 overs thanks to Ahongsangbam Thoithoisana, Kongjengbam Nonibala and Rajkumari Valentina who shared 8 wickets before reaching the target in 8.3 overs at the cost of 4 wickets.
Thoithoibi (3/2 in 5 overs) and Nonibala (3/9 in 4 overs) enjoyed three wicket hauls while RK Valentina (2/0 in 0.5 over) picked two wickets as Sumeiya Shahni (8 off 30) and Barkatun Khanam (4 off 7) emerged main run getters and 5 others went out on ducks for FORCE.
In reply, Changammayum Leithoi (8 off 8), Usham Robeni (4 off 25) and Moirangthem Creety (4 off 5) then led THAU to victory despite Barkatun Khanam (2/10) and Rahmatun Khanam (1/18) sharing three wickets.
Thoithoibi was adjudged player of the match.
Meanwhile, Group B leaders AKSDO overwhelmed Group A runners up SHADOW, Thangmeiband by 217 runs in another semifinal clash at THAU ground.
Ningthoujam Langlen blasted an 86-ball 128 (19 fours and 1 six) and Moirangthem Daina added 30 off 34 balls (3 fours) to help AKSDO, who won the toss and opted to bat first, post a commendable total of 264/8 in 35 overs before Daina (4/5 in 2 overs), Khundrakpam Bijiya (3/17 in 4.3 overs) and Thokchom Alish (2/10) wreaked havoc to dismantle SHADOW for 47 runs in 17.3 overs.
Only Thokchom Victoria 14 off 33 balls was the double digit run getter for SHADOW in the chase as 6 of her teammates fell flat on ducks with Daina, Bijiya and Alish running riot.
Earlier in the first innings, Th Victoria (2/47), Sapam Kebriya (1/41), Hanglem Priyanshee (1/49) and Moirangthem Nirupama (1/38) were among the wickets for SHADOW.
Langlen, who starred with a ton for AKSDO, was declared player of the match.
