Imphal, May 06 2025: Football Lovers (Nongpok Sekmai) mounted a spirited comeback against Legend FC to secure their place in the final of the Samaram Cup - 3rd State Level Open Football Tournament 2025, where they will face Football Lovers Manipur.

In a tightly contested semifinal on Tuesday, Akbar Khan gave Legend FC an early lead in the 5th minute.

However, S Roshan proved the hero for Football Lovers, turning the game around with a well-taken brace in the 13th and 54th minutes to seal a hard-fought victory.

The other finalists, Football Lovers Manipur, booked their spot in emphatic fashion on Monday with a dominant 5-0 win over HAFC in the first semifinal.

Amit Kumar (7 ), Ng Naocha (36), Nongdamba (47), Ratanbi (55) and Langamba (60) all found the net in a commanding performance, ensuring a smooth passage to the final.
