Premjit's brace guides WFA to 3-1 win in 2nd Premier League

Imphal, May 06 2025: Laishram Premjit struck twice to guide WFA to a commanding 3-1 win over Imphal Youth FC in Tuesday's fixture of the 2nd Premier League 2024-25 at the Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Premjit made an immediate impact, firing WFA ahead within just six minutes before doubling their lead with another clinical finish in the 11th minute.

Ningthoujam Renedy extended WFA's dominance in the 58th minute with a well-taken goal, putting the match firmly beyond Imphal Youth's reach.

Bidyananda Meetei Ningthoujam managed to pull one back for Imphal Youth in the 67th minute, but it proved little more than a consolation as WFA's resolute defence held firm to seal a comfortable victory.
