Asufii FA, KIYC settle for 2-2 draw in 2nd Premier League

Imphal, May 11 2025: Asufii FA and KIYC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Sunday's action of the 2nd Premier League 2024-25 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

The first half was a tightly contested affair, with Asufii FA breaking the deadlock just before the interval.

Samson gave his side the lead in the 44th minute, sending them into half-time with a slender advantage.

The second half continued in much the same vein, with both sides exchanging attacks.

KIYC drew level in the 75th minute when Yumnam Monis Singh found the net, setting up a tense finale.

Asufii FA responded swiftly, retaking the lead in the 82nd minute courtesy of a clinical finish from Soyothei Raikhan.

However, KIYC refused to surrender, and in dramatic fashion, Md Isra Khan snatched a last-gasp equaliser deep into stoppage time to ensure the points were shared.
