Women's U-23 ODI: PTCC, PTRC victorious

Imphal, April 07 2025: PTCC and PTRC, Patsoi emerged victorious in league matches in the 1st MNCA Women's U-23 One Day Trophy 2024-25 on Monday.

PTCC beat TCMDC, Thongju II Pechu Lampak by two wickets at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband.

Batting first, TCMDC could only muster 124/8 in 35 overs with captain Athokpam Ten-nish Devi (39 run) being the top scorer.

For PTCC, Bandana accounted for three wickets, while two wickets were claimed by Laishram Bigyapati Devi and one wicket by Khundrakpam Anjali Devi.

PTCC overhauled the target in 31.4 overs for the loss of eight wickets with Shrili Irom (35 runs) and Laishram Bigyapati Devi (18 runs) being the notable contributors.

In contrast, PTRC defeated PSC, Khoyathong by 48 runs at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

PTRC were bowled out for 127 in 26.3 overs as Kiranbala Palujam (31 runs) briefly defied the PSC bowling attack led by Surangini Kangabam and Thokchom Purni (three wickets each).

However, Laitonjam Linthoi Devi (four wickets), Kiranbala Palujam (three), Linthoingambi Chanu Laishram (two) arid Laitonjam Benita Devi (one wicket) triggered collapse of the PSC batting line-up for only 79 runs on board in 28.4 overs.
