PTCC, SHADOW ease to wins in 3rd MNCA Women's Trophy

Imphal, May 06 2025: PTCC and SHADOW notched up resounding victories in Tuesday's matches of the 3rd MNCA Women's One Day Trophy 2024-25.PTCC eased their way to a 171-run win over PSC in their encounter at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

Winning the toss and opting to bat, PTCC posted a competitive total of 196/8 in their 35 overs, thanks to notable contributions from Niruka (45 off 58) and Lourembam Arena Devi (44 off 52) .

Laishram Bigyapati Devi's quickfire 28 off 22 further bolstered the innings.

PSC's reply was dismantled by PTCC's bowlers, led by Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam, who claimed a sensational 5 wickets for just 5 runs in 4.2 overs.

Bandana (2/4) and Usham Saliza (2/24) also chipped in as PSC were skittled out for a paltry 25 in 14.2 overs.

The other match saw SHADOW demolish YPHUC by 8 wickets at THAU Ground.

YPHUC, batting first after winning the toss, struggled against SHADOW'S disciplined bowling attack, col lapsing to 85 all out in 26.4 overs.

Sagatpam Hentholbi was the standout bowler, taking 4/30, while Wahengbam Priyabati Devi (2/18) and Priyanshee Hanglem (1/16) provided excellent support.

In response, SHADOW chased down the target in just 8.4 overs, thanks to a blistering 46 off 33 from Kebriya Devi Sapam, which included 9 fours and a six.

Victoria Thokchom (14 off 18) and Viviene Laishram (8* off 2) ensured a swift finish, sealing the win.
