Imphal, February 15: SEYO, Singjamei Kshetri Leikai pipped KhSC, Khongman 4-3 while SAI RC, Takhel collected bonus after winning the tie-breaker against Cosmo, Wangkhei at 5-3 in group matches of the 1st GK Memorial men's Open Hockey tournament at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium today.

The keenly contested SEYO versus KhSC clash saw Martun (3rd), Ksh Angouba (18th), Chitra (57th) and H Ahanta slam in the eventual winners' goals with a brace from L England (9th, 42nd) and M Premeshor's 35th minute strike going waste.

After a 1-1 draw between SAI and Cosmo extended the match to tie-breaker, the former converted four out of five attempts compared to only two by the Wangkhei side.

Earlier, M Bronson put SAI ahead with a 17th minute goal before RK Chitrasen levelled for Cosmo in the 35t.While SAI was awarded two points including the bonus Cosmo had to be content with one point.
