Imphal, August 07 2017:
The All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) today said that private schools should not violate the rights of students .
In a statement, general secretary of AMSU Thoubal district committee, Surjananda Nongthombam said some private institutions in Thoubal district have formulated their own regulations thereby restricting students from pursuing their studies at the institutes of their choice.
This has been used as a mean to suppress the rights of the student community.
As such, the authority concerned should rein them in, the statement said.
