Shots fired at JNIMS doctor's house

Imphal, May 19 2025: Unidentified persons fired shots at the Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak house of Dr Moirangthem Ratankumar (53), son of late M Chinglen, around 8 pm Monday.

Dr Ratankumar is a neuro-medicine doctor at JNIMS .

Two bullets reportedly struck the gate of his residence.

Teams of Forensic Science and Lamphel police station arrived and assessed the crime scene.

A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
