Imphal, March 15: Three KLA activists were apprehended by Imphal East commandos from near Sanjenthong yesterday, informed a release issued by SP Imphal East Th Radheshyam.

While Seilun Haokip (51) of G Gelbung and Holthang Haokip (55) of Sipijang were arrested at about 2.35 pm, another KLA activists identified as Aribam Megha alias Ingo Sharma (25) of Nongren Mayai Leikai were apprehended at about 4.30 pm.

A demand letter of Rs 4 lakhs addressed to Minister Ph Parijat was also recovered from Aribam Megha, added the release.

On the other hand, a UNLF cadre identified as Tonjam Ratan (28) s/o T Samu of Khurai Thangjam Leikai was arrested by Imphal West commandos from Samurou Bazar at about 10 am today, informed SP Imphal West L Kailun in a press release.
