Imphal, February 18:
A meeting of the State Cabinet today with Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh in the chair has decided to levy tax on tobacco and its products in the State by the Government, according to a reliable source.
The source further informed that the Cabinet meeting has also approval slashing of the tax being collected from cinema houses of the State from Rs 100 to Rs 5 only.
