Imphal, February 26: A 12-year old boy who had been kidnapped by some unknown persons was found abandoned at Mongsangei Mamang Leikai under Singjamei Police Station at around 7 pm today.

The boy has been identified as Langpoklakpam Arunkumar alias Ibungo (12) and his parents as L Premchand and Purnima of Waheng Khuman under Nambol Police Station.

According to the boy, he studies in a school located near the DC office complex at Lamphelpat.

He was kidnapped by three unknown persons and later brought to Mongsangei where he was abandoned.

While the boy was loitering around not knowing where to go, one Advocate Naobi of Mongsangei Mamang Leikai brought him to his house and later informed the Singjamei Police.
