Snake bite victims saved

Imphal, September 14 2018:
Units under command of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) saved lives of three snake bite victims on 14th September.
Keithelmanbi Battalion and Tulihal Battalion saved lives of Mr Dhanbahadur, Mr S Iboton and Hiyam Suranjoy from different villages namely Kangkopki, Nambol Phoijeng and Kwaikeithel Konjeng.
All individuals were bitten by poisonous snakes and were immediately rushed to the unit hospitals.
The patients were readily attended by the medical teams under the Regimental Medical Officers.
The timely action by the medical teams not only saved precious humans lives but also reinforced good faith among the locals.
